For approximately 8 years, I was the Editorial Coordinator for Creative Thought Magazine, a Religious Science International in-house publication. I was an English major with a Journalism minor with a focus on editing and proofreading print publications, and for several years, I was a Senior Correspondent for a large insurance company, creating form letters, editing brochures, and proofreading press releases. I work from Strunk and White’s Elements of Style, and I am a strong proponent of the Oxford comma. I believe the written word needs to be exact and grammatically correct, and I operate from that premise.
